Higher education plays a vital role in the integration process for immigrant communities.
This is why we created the Youth and Education Opportunity Center (YOC), providing access to mentorship for high-school students to help increase graduation rates among English-Learner students and providing information that can lead successful lives post-high school education.
We also aim to support young individuals for whom college isn’t an option by providing information related to vocational training, technical certifications, and job opportunities.
A mentoring program created to help increase graduation rates among English-Learner students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System.
College Access For All is a program that provides information about access to higher education for documented and undocumented students.
For the safety and health of all those we serve, all programs, events, and workshops hosted by the Center will occur virtually and this includes GANAS mentoring.
