Thanks to this virtual option, everyone can access convenient, high-quality care within their daily routine. This service can be accessed by children and adults, you can receive virtual care to treat conditions that occur during the day or request a visit in advance.
Who are eligible?
We will make a referral to an Atrium Health (for adults) or Atrium Health Levine Children’s (for children) virtual provider. Using special technology, the health care professional checks the throat, ears, lungs, and heart, among others. Tests are even performed, if necessary. A diagnosis and treatment plan are created. Your provider sends the necessary prescriptions to your local pharmacy. For your convenience, your visit summary is sent to your primary care physician. If the condition is not contagious, you can resume your activities with little interruption.
How much does it cost?
Depending on your insurance plan, you may have to pay copays and deductibles associated with these services. If you do not have insurance, financial help may be available.
