Charlotte-NC. The Latin American Coalition (LAC) continues to assist those most in need and here it shows you part of the achievements of the Immigration Legal Center in the month of March.
On March 25, the legal department successfully held its second citizenship workshop and confirmed a new workshop to be held next Saturday, April 29 at the headquarters of The Latin American Coalition, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. To register for the workshop, participants must have had a prior consultation at the Immigration Legal Center.
Beginning in April, the legal department began the pre-evaluations for the participants of the United States history and government classes. The class cycle began on Sunday, April 2, and will end on July 2. The registration process is already closed. Stay tuned for the announcement of the opening of the next cycle, through our website and social networks.
Approved cases
Legal cases approved in the month of March:
1) Two naturalizations
2) A residency renewal (I-90) and a DACA renewal
3) Three TPS cases
4) Two Family Petitions (I-130)
6) A work permit (I-765)
The calendar to schedule immigration consultations will reopen in April and you will only be able to schedule your appointment if your case is naturalization. At the moment, consultations are not available for other cases. Consultations will resume from Monday, April 10 and will be held every Monday by phone except for holidays. They can register through Calendly and the cost of the consultation is $30. For more information, please consult the LAC website.
